Newcomer to ProseMirror here – I’m wondering if anyone here could share an example of code that creates a widget that appears off to the side of the editing area (like comments in Google docs) rather than inline. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thank you!
I think the linter example does that by putting an widget in the right-hand gutter for the ‘lint fix’ action. The widget is placed in the DOM “inline”, if you will, at a specific document position, but the element is positioned visually via CSS to the right.
