Hi everyone
Over the past few months a friend and I have spent a lot of time working on a form builder that allows the creation of a fully custom form with interesting layouts and styles. One goal was for the form creation to feel like writing or editing a doc, which is why we have built the editor on top of ProseMirror.
To give you an idea of how flexible the system is, here’s what different forms can look like:
A published form renders a ProseMirror document using React directly. This made sense for us as filling out a form is a somewhat different experience than creating and editing the form. To see the actual form creation/editing experience with ProseMirror, you can try it out on https://www.formgrid.com (no signup required). The editor also supports dragging and dropping elements around and allows selecting multiple blocks with a rectangle selection.
It would be great to get feedback and feel free to ask any technical questions ![]()
