Curious to hear about experiences from others who have implemented links as nodes as well as via marks.
Marks seam more traditional but are funky without extra work due to being able to split links into two, partially unmark links, and etc.
Nodes ultimately seem more flexible especially when accounting for the edit chrome and smart/preview/card style links.
But what are the pros and cons?
The intention in the library is to use marks for links. I’m not sure what you mean by being split in two or partially unmarked. (Are you making your link mark the first mark in your schema? Because you probably want to do that.)
Cheers, I was thinking too far ahead and the marks are manageable. I might use nodes for more complicated preview style stuff.
