And hey, ProseMirror, how about sponsoring Medium ProEditor? Let’s take this to the next level! :muscle: Medium ProEditor will be one of the most beautiful editors on the internet!

You’re asking me, the author of the software you’re using to build this, to sponsor you with money? I’m sorry, but that’s weird.

Also not entirely convinced of the wisdom of using another company’s name in your product name when you appear to not be associated with them at all.

Thanks for your response, I understand how that might have come across the wrong way. My intention wasn’t to ask for direct financial sponsorship but rather to express admiration for ProseMirror and explore potential collaboration or support in ways that make sense.

For the name, I chose it because the editor is heavily inspired by Medium’s writing experience, powered by ProseMirror, so I’m open to feedback on the naming if it’s a concern.

dope, seems like the link you provided is a 404 though.

Github just suspended my account!

Oop maybe cuz you used Medium’s name like that?

Give us an update when you can! I am really interested in possibility contributing.

In solidarity,

Miguel Almodóvar

The suspend happen because github discussion rules, it’s not about naming to medium

I really don’t know what to do now, guys. GitHub is still suspending my account, and I’ve already contacted support multiple times, but nothing has changed.

Should I create a new account to continue developing this project with the community, or what should I do?

wow that sucks :pensive: It would be dope if you could set it up on a new account. I am definitely interested in taking a look at the code and learn from what you’ve built so far and contribute. It looked great from what I saw before they took it down.

Why does the NPM page say: “MIT, commercial use requires a license.”

Medium-ProEditor is now Textrix

It’s not just the name has changes, but also it comes with alot of enhancements, doc, and a clear roadmap, under MIT.
