This post doesn’t perfectly align with “jobs board”, but I think it has enough overlap to make sense here. Our collective, Handle with Care (we maintain some open source ProseMirror libraries, including React ProseMirror and Remark ProseMirror is starting to build a new rich text editing framework with ProseMirror. We’re calling it Pitter Patter.
We want Pitter Patter to be completely open source, and we need help with funding it. In the past, we’ve relied on our contract work to fund our open source work, but we have to actually do the contract work, which leaves us very little time to work on our open source projects. So we’re trying sometihng different this time: we’re looking for sponsors!
If you have a company that needs a collaborative rich text editor with all the bells and whistles, and aren’t satisfied with the options that are out there right now, reach out! I think we’re going to be able to make something really great, but we need help!
We’ve raised $31k/mo for the next 6 months, but we want to get to $80k/mo so that we can have the whole collective working on it part time.
