Prosemirror-focused senior engineer position at The New York Times - $140,000-$155,000/yr

Hi everyone,

I’m a software engineer a team here at The New York Times that works with ProseMirror on a new publishing platform that will enable our newsrooms to provide the best news coverage across the bundle (news stories, newsletters, NYT cooking & games…) and we are hiring!

In this role, you’d be working with ProseMirror on a near-daily basis (along with React, Typescript, GraphQL, and others). We also rely on the react-prosemirror library, authored by The NYT alums (hi @Smores & @tilgovi)

Our team is small, focused, kind and supportive. I’d also say that if you don’t have much or any experience with ProseMirror specifically, but do have experience with other collaborative/rich-text editing libraries or tooling, do apply anyway.

To apply, use the link above. You’re welcome to mention me (Anna Bialas) or the ProseMirror forum. If you have questions about the job beyond the description, you’re welcome to respond here or email me directly. We’d love to work with someone who is really into and has experience developing collaborative software for content authoring.
