I’m a mediocre/occasional developer looking to add ProseMirror to a website project, but the gap between my knowledge and the modern development practices on which PM is dependent is too wide for me to effectively navigate.
Has anyone created a PM-based “drop-in” editor for vanilla JS (or even jQuery) that’s not dependent on Bootstrap, Vue, or React? Something similar to https://quilljs.com/ or MediumEditor or https://trix-editor.org/, etc.
If not, would anyone be interested in building one? I can find some budget for a freelance gig, or donate to an open-source project (there seems to be at least some demand for making ProseMirror accessible to “pedestrian” developers like myself).
